A serial of events will be organized by the Teoh Beng Hock Trust for Democracy to mark the 6th anniversary of the death of Teoh Beng Hock.

1) I want Justice for Beng Hock Postcard Campaign
I want Justice for Beng Hock” is a nationwide postcard campaign that requires citizens to send a postcard to Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, demanding the ministry and police to complete the second investigation on Beng Hock that has started since September 2014 immediately and bring the murderer to justice. Citizens can purchase a set of 10-piece postcards at RM10 and get friends to take action in support of the Teoh family.

2) ‘Jatuh’ Film Screening and Discussion

‘Jatuh’ is a documentary on Teoh Beng Hock, which covers the timeline since his death to the setup of the Royal Commission of Inquiry. Let’s review one of the darkest political persecution case in the Malaysian contemporary history.

3) Park Memorial

This is the first time Teoh Beng Hock Trust for Democracy takes memorial event from closed door to outdoor, from capital to community, conveying the message of relentlessly seeking justice to the grassroots. The memorial programs include moment of silence, singing, poetry recitation and tree planting.

(4) Earth Citizen Youth Camp (Mandarin Language)

Democracy Academy of Malaysia, an educational arm of Teoh Beng Hock Trust for Democracy, will organise a Earth Citizen Youth Camp in Puchong to educate secondary school students about climate change, garbage sorting, understanding environment policies and operation of administrative departments. The camp hopes to inspire participants the ways to protect the earth we are living in.
