Public Memorial in Petaling Jaya
This is the second year Teoh Beng Hock Trust for Democracy takes the memorial event out of Kuala Lumpur, previous year in Puchong. The objective of ‘mobile memorial’ is to actively reach out to the public by bringing the issue to the community. This is to convey a message that Teoh family and civil society still demand justice for Beng Hock, the government should arrest and charge the killers immediately.
There will be singing, cartoon drawing, short play at the memorial event. The guest of honours are Teoh family representative, famous cartoonist Zunar, Selangor State Exco Ean Yong Hian Wah and Bukit Gasing state assemblyman Rajiv.
